Standard Process

Upon receiving a complaint, our staff confirm the facts and consider potential resolutions. We propose a solution acceptable to the client and work toward resolution.
We also seek resolution through the following organization, which provides services commissioned by the Japan Investment Advisers Association (the “Association”), of which we are a member. To use this service, please contact:

FINMAC accepts complaints from clients, refers them to member firms, and aims to resolve matters through discussions between clients and member firms.

Dispute Resolution

We seek to resolve disputes through mediation conducted by FINMAC. FINMAC provides mediation services commissioned by the Association. To use FINMAC for disputes with us, please contact the number above.
Standard Mediation Flow

  • Submission of a mediation application by the client
  • Acceptance of the application and appointment of a mediator
  • Payment of the mediation filing fee by the client
  • Hearings with the client and the member firm by the mediator
  • Presentation and acceptance of a proposed resolution
